How much seed oil is in Sbarro's food?
Sbarro averages an estimated 21.8g of seed oil PUFA per menu item, about 5.5 days of the 4g daily goal many people in the seed oil free community aim for, in one average item. Method and grade scale on the methodology page.
What Sbarro cooks with
soybean oil in the plain NY pizza dough (the only added oil in that ingredient statement), but the chain's own Oct 2022 USA Nutrition and Allergen Guide lists "vegetable oil (canola oil, extra virgin olive oil)" ahead of soybean oil on every Roman and Pan pizza, most topped NY pizzas and most strombolis; pepperoni/sausage contribute additional animal fat. No fryer.
