BIG UPDATE. Fryer oil. 70 new countries.

A lot has landed since the last update. Here is what you can use today.

Restaurants in 70 countries
We added 65 countries since early September: New Zealand, Ireland, almost all of Europe, Mexico, Brazil, India, Japan, South Africa, Singapore, the Gulf and more. That is about 790 chains and 90,000 menu items. Where a chain publishes nutrition for that country, we use that country's own document, not the US one. They are live on the website now (seedoiltracker.com/de/chains for Germany, /jp/chains for Japan and so on). The app's country picker gets them in the next update, right after 1.7.1 clears both stores.

Fully documented
192 US chains are now fully documented from the chain's own numbers, up from 100 last time, and 319 across all countries. 23 of the 25 biggest US chains are done, and we filled in far more of what you can actually order there, not just the classics.

In the app now
- Fryer oil badge at the top of each restaurant's order screen: green for tallow or butter, amber for mixed, red for seed oils. Tap "Wrong? Let us know" if it is off.
- Sizes and versions sit in one row. Tap it and pick yours.
- Seed oil avoided card on Today, a running total of seed oil you skipped compared with the average American.
- Cook at home: log a whole dish (117 recipes), and the plate builder now has 133 ingredients.
- "Not on the menu? Request it" under every step of an order.
- Customise toppings and sauces from the For You tab and quick-add too.
- Reply to a reply in the forum, and reply notifications open the thread.
- Canada, UK and Australia: local supermarket products in grocery search, from Open Food Facts, estimated from each label's fat and ingredients.
- Since 1.7.0, tapping a seedoiltracker.com chain link opens that chain in the app.
- Seed Oil Tracker is now an app inside ChatGPT too.

Every chain added is one more place where people can see what is in the fryer before they order. Spot a wrong number? Post it here and we will fix it.
